Telephony applications are designed using computers and recorded messages to provide information interactively via the telephone without the need of a human attendant. Using top of the line Dialogic telephony hardware equipment and professionally recorded messages, HarbourTec United has created a wide variety of customized Interactive Voice Response and Voice Mail solutions.
These applications can be written on any scale. Small companies can inexpensively give their customers the impression that they are dealing with a large corporation by implementing a PC based interactive voice system. Larger companies can incorporate multi-line solutions, handling many calls simultaneously via standard telco, T1, T3, E1, ISDN for inbound and outbound traffic. Users can dial-in to obtain information products or services, request a fax back, make reservations or place an order entering credit card information as payment. In each case the voice recordings are linked with data from an existing company data base.
